To date, Linda has had a varied career that covers both the public and private sector elements of local government service delivery.  In 2004, after 11 years in the private sector, Linda returned to local government as Assistant Director of Information Services at Sefton MBC.  Her most recent role was as ICT and Contract Services manager at Sefton, managing the Council’s major outsourcing partnership that covers ICT, Revenues and Benefits.  Linda has been actively involved in the development of the options for Sefton MBC’s Council Tax Reduction Scheme.

Linda joins Destin as Product Manager, a role to which she brings her considerable experience gained as Product Manager for Bull and Anite Software organisations.  Linda has a particular interest in the development of software solutions and integration which is particularly relevant to the challenging demands placed on local government in relation to the welfare reform agenda.

Linda’s 15 years as a revenues and benefits practitioner were spent with Liverpool City Council and Preston City Councils, separated by 5 years as a Deputy Clerk to the Merseyside Valuation Tribunal. Linda is an active member of IRRV including 2 years as a member of IRRV’s Commercial Services Committee.  Linda has twice been a local IRRV President and is a regular speaker at both national and local level.
